I am a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, teacher and coach. I have spent 37 years in a clinical or education setting before my own burnout, disillusionment, and self-doubt were too much. For me, I had to step away to heal.

In my healing journey I learned how to find myself again so that I can show up strong for myself and those around me. And, I found my FUN!

During my time away from nursing I became certified as a professional coach and now find my mission is to share this knowledge with others and help them find their path.

I believe everyone has the power to heal! As a nurse I felt I should be able to figure it out on my out. What I learned is that sometimes we need guidance to find our individual path.

We in nursing are each unique and yet we share a common bond only known to those that have cared for others. As we heal we can regain that sense of passion to care for others that brought us to healthcare, along with our peace, joy, and fun.

Where did it start…

I have always been drawn to helping others (being the oldest of 5 probably helped her with that) and was destined to be either a teacher or a nurse. I did both. Most of my time as an RN was spent being an emergency/trauma and flight nurse. Great for the excitement yet heavy on the emotional toll.

Ready to help others avoid the ER, I became a Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) and I worked with some amazing physicians, nurses, and clients. I focused on the care of chronic health conditions like high blood pressure, cholesterol, and obesity care.

After several years as a full time NP I was ready to fulfill a dream to teach and I transitioned to full time nursing education. Shaping the next generation of nurses.

At the end of 2019 the administrative position I held was cut during a streamlining realignment and I had the opportunity to return to full-time clinical practice. Yet the emotional toll had caught up to me and it was time to step back, take a pause, and heal.

The journey of healing has come full circle and I now find joy, peace, and fun back in my days. I am ready to guide you to do the same.

Do you to feel your job caring for others has drained your energy? Do you feel ready to explore possibilities, unsure of whether to stay in your job or transition to a new role? Then now is he perfect time to work with a coach that has traveled that road. One that is ready to guide you on your path.
